Southern Division ACDA Honor Chorus Acceptance Information
Dear Honor Choir Singers and Families,
Congratulations on your selection to the 2018 Southern ACDA Honor Choirs! Over 1,000 singers auditioned this year and we are proud and excited that you have been chosen as one of the finest singers! If you are not able to accept this invitation, please let us know immediately so we can find another singer to replace you. Acceptance of your seat is due no later than December 20th, 2017.
In the packet, available at the link listed below, you will find information about the next steps toward your journey to sing in Louisville, KY. Please read all materials carefully and make sure you complete the necessary steps by the deadline. It is your responsibility to take care of these items in a timely manner. Use the checklist to make sure that you have completed each item. The medical, participation, and photography form will need to be printed, completed, and mailed to the Honor Choir Coordinator. Your space in the choir is secured by finalizing your registration online and paying your registration fee as well as sending in the three forms. The other pages are informational only. Please check your email often, we will send a few reminder emails with communication from the conductor and important details for Louisville often.
Once we have received your registration fee and forms, music will be mailed to you at the first of the year. Please make sure the address we have on your application is an address where mail can be received (we do not recommend school addresses for this). Be sure to also print any additional music selections or information from the emails and add these to the music packets you receive in the mail. All music is REQUIRED to be with you in Louisville.
You now have access to all materials online (www.acdasouthern.org/conference-2018/Honor-Choirs/) so you can finish the acceptance process and begin learning your music. These materials include part tracks and notes from the directors leading your choir.
